The Diamond District will be a new mixed-income community in Richmond offering market rate housing and workforce housing affordable to households earning 60% or below of the area median income. Phase 1A will include approximately 891 new housing units. The first residential buildings will be Dōma and workforce housing by Pennrose/Nix.

Dōma

Dōma, the first apartment building at the Diamond District, welcomes residents to a hub of wellbeing. The class-A apartment building at 2707 Diamond View Drive will feature 276 market-rate units, 4,000sf of commercial space, spacious units, a rooftop gym and lap pool, and multiple amenities to relax and rejuvenate. The building wraps around a 453-space parking garage that will be shared by Dōma residents and employees and visitors of the 2727 Diamond View Drive Office Building.

Designed by Richmond-based architecture firm Baskervill, the first private building to break ground at the Diamond District is Dōma, a new class-A apartment building with 276 units.

Workforce Housing by Pennrose/Nix

The workforce apartment buildings at 2700 Diamond View Drive provide units using a hybrid financing structure combining 9% and 4% tax credits and will be affordable to households earning up to 60% of the area median income. With direct access to the new crescent park, residents of these buildings will have easy access to crescent park, Richmond’s new premier public park, right outside their door.
